For the past few years, Ashlea has been based in the Aspen, Colorado area and quickly become Aspen’s top extension specialist. She has worked with brands such as Madhappy, Hermes, and MaxMara, as well as many of the A-List celebrities and public figures known to frequent Aspen. She loves styling for photoshoots, events, and special occasions, and has worked on weddings ranging from intimate elopements to elaborate, multi-look celebrations.

Ashlea grew up thumbing through pages of 80s & 90s hairstyling magazines and sweeping up after haircuts in the Seattle salon of her honorary aunt. In high school she practiced the Gwyneth Paltrow circa 'Emma' updo on friends, and carried that experimentation into adulthood with styling for friends' weddings. Despite having vast exposure to and working knowledge of hairstyling, it wasn't until 2015 that she decided to make this lifelong fascination a career.

After graduating cosmetology school with honors and completing a high level advanced apprenticeship in Seattle, Ashlea also trained in on-set work with world renowned stylists at Oribe in New York, assisted one of LA’s top haircutting specialists, completed multiple extension certifications, and is always looking for more education opportunities to deepen her expertise.
